I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your crew for the exceptional service you provided in emptying out our Schermerhorn Row, prior to its restoration. The fact that your staff managed to empty out twenty years of accumulated records, exhibit furniture, and packing crates in only two and a half days is impressive in itself. Considering that they had to place the items in the fourth floor of a building with no elevator, I was very surprised and pleased with the results. This was done for a price less than half of what your competitors would have charged.

I was also pleased that I was able to trust your men in the museum exhibition area. Although the character of your crew was above suspicion in terms of security, I noted that they did not become distracted by the items on display, which might have slowed down the work of other, lesser, laborers.

Enclosed, please find a copy of a March 26, 2000 New York Times article, announcing the restoration of Schermerhorn Row. The work your crew did in this building was the first step in a large and complicated process. The fact that it was accomplished in such a timely and efficient manner has given us an encouraging outlook for the whole Schermerhorn Row restoration. Thank you.

Pierre was very professional and courteous and made the difficult move a positive experience. My house in Los Angeles was located on a steep hill and the move was somewhat treacherous, however, Pierre and his crew were able to handle the situation with no problem and made a potentially stressful situation come off with ease.
