The charge for local moves is based upon:
You will pay an hourly rate for the movers and a truck. The billing starts from the time the movers arrive at your current address and ends when they complete the move at your new home. In addition, you will be charged for travel time, which is the time it takes for the movers to travel from our facility to your current home and back from your new home. For moves within the five boroughs of New York City, the travel time usually equals one-half hour of the hourly rate.
Moving pads and tape used during the move are provided for free. Additional packing materials, such as boxes and packing paper, will be charged based on the exact amount that you use.
